The building features a north-facing atrium which helps to reconcile the difficult levels on the site. Designed with engineers WhitbyBird, it is an energy-efficient design.
Permitted on appeal from Camden some years back, Anglo Scottish Properties PLC did not proceed with the building of this 20,000 square foot office building designed by BWCP for its campus next to the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm Road though retaining structures adjacent the railway were constructed meaning that development was commenced.
BWCP is presently (2011) designing a budget hotel for the site.
ASP’s main building there, 100 Chalk Farm Road, is home to the Community Housing Association which BWCP converted for their occupation from a mixture of recording studio and offices.
