Permanent planning and listed building consents were granted following three consecutive planning committee meetings and a site visit by the committee in Autumn 2010.

A third temporary permission was granted March 2010 for use as a conference and events centre including fine art exhibition while restoration works continue.

NEW Listed Building application submitted in July 2009. This will allow early repair and adaptation for use as a conference and events centre. A Certificate was issued for this use last year.
The 'MAYFAIR HEALTH' scheme goes to appeal. Public Inquiry in November 2009. English Heritage sides with the appellant.

Now subject to JR, the works of repair and conservation for use as a conference centre and venue are now underway.

Elsworthy Road residents seize the initiative

Acting for the Elsworthy C A Residents LLP, BWCP has been advising on their opposition to an inappropriate development in the conservation area. Most recently giving evidence in support of Camden against the developer's 4 appeals all of which were dismissed in March 2010.

Scheme for the redevelopment of the mews and the provision of a trading floor with a green roof between the mews and the listed building at 14 Charles Street Mayfair for a major European financial institution. The resulting building will replace existing residential floor space as well as adding office space.

Piper's & Badcock's Wharves: London's principal boat repair yard under threat

The site on the shore of the Greenwich Peninsula is affected by a £600m development proposal, Greenwich Wharf, by L&R.
The owner, Thames Craft Dry Docking Services, has instructed BWCP to make representations to the borough, to give evidence before the Development Plan inspector and to negotiate with his freehold landlord for a suitable relocation without interruption of his business which maintains the majority of the ferry and tourist craft on the Thames and has built many of the piers.
As a result a new £3.5m yard at Bay Wharf has been granted consent for relocation as a condition of the main development.

Alternative proposals for a single large family house have been submitted for owners Blackcap Ltd. January 2009.

This explains the background to the proposals, the amended application scheme which was submitted in August 2002 and circulated for further consultations, and the scheme which modifies the amended proposals following these consultations.

The site was sold for over £12m to Capital & Counties in 2007. Our client Greenwich House Properties continues to manage the site.
